These lessons are a love gift to God in thanksgiving for His love and faithfulness through the years. The "how" of this journey-though incredible it has been-is not as important as the fact that it has been His from start to finish! Each time I sat down to write, I felt as if I were treading on holy ground!

This effort would not have been possible were it not for the support of so many. I am especially grateful to Ilene Bradberry and the gracious manner in which she encouraged and facilitated this work across the miles; to my pastor/husband for his inspiration and challenge; to our daughter, Cindy, the first to suggest, "Mom, why don't you consider laying aside your doctoral study to devote all you time to writing the lessons!"; to our son, Scott, whose prayers with me and for me have meant so much; to their mates, Chad and Mary K, who have been a constant source of encouragement and prayer support; to the prayer warriors across the miles and at our beloved St. Andrews Baptist Church; to those who graciously consented to proofread (especially Professor Kay Herbert's TEFL Methods class at Columbia International University and Diana at SABC!); and to Dale Stone, after whose prayer over the phone there was no turning back! Through divine coincidence Dale had called the JESUS Film office within two weeks of my own initial call. He was calling (from Minneapolis) to see if TEFL materials were yet available to accompany the JESUS film distribution. I was calling (from South Carolina) as a volunteer to do this writing.

I have always marveled to see God working on both ends of a situation-and at the same time! In this instance, I have watched Him work on both ends-at the same time and from all directions!

The blessing without measure has been the great privilege I have had to work these last months with my brother in Christ and brother by birth. I shall be eternally grateful to Doug-the most patient person I know-for his willingness to edit in the midst of an already full schedule!

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift (2 Corinthians 9:15). . . Unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory . . throughout all ages . . . (Ephesians 3:20-21).
